YOU MAY WELL ASK, AND EVENTS HAVE CERTAINLY OVERTAKEN US, BUT WE HAVEN’T BEEN IDLE IN THE MEANTIME.
Our first priority was finding a way that we could get together as a group and by getting to grips with Zoom we adapted with phone-ins for those who didn’t have computer access. Initially our meetings were supportive, check- ins for our members but gradually they evolved in a Rotary sense with ideas about how we could help others with shopping etc or as active NHS helpers.
Eventually we moved towards thinking of ways to fundraise and although some of our planned events had to be cancelled, below you can see what we have managed to do so far.

Rotary Ride
Oh yes it did. Some of us actually rode real bikes along the Wirral Way, others rode static bikes. We all did what we could to play our part. We roped in help from other clubs and also family members. Some donated funds. Altogether we raised over £1000 – read more on our Press releases & articles page.
