Friday 18th May 2018 at Hoylake Social Club
Tony Slattery is an actor and comedian who has starred in films, theatre, musicals and television. Although he has appeared in serious dramas like The Crying Game and Peter’s Friends, and has had roles in TV series such as Coronation Street and Kingdom, he is probably still most famous for his long-running residency on improvised comedy series Whose Line is it Anyway? , to which he returned at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe to warm acclaim and sold-out theatres.
Join us for an evening with Tony as he talks openly about his career, from his presidency of the Cambridge Footlights to his present stage production Slattery Night Fever, taking in his battles with substance abuse and mental illness.
The proceeds of the evening will go to Wirral Ways to Recovery, our local drug and alcohol rehabilitation service.
The event takes place at Hoylake Social Club and doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.
Tickets are £10 per head plus £1 booking fee. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. You will not receive a posted ticket but when you book you should receive an email confirming your booking.
*Please note that Hoylake Social Club operates a cash-only bar*
*Everyone is welcome but wheelchair users are asked to contact us in advance so that we can ensure the venue is accessible*
